Nightlife:
I am more like a
guy who tends to study and dedicate my time to my passions, in this life, that
would be architecture, the main thing I have joined Northumbria for. But as an
overview and a brief conclusion after a few days spent in the campus, I have
been literally overwhelmed by the amount of flyers and offers regarding
nightlife events organized both by the University and the clubs in the city.
Being rated for years on as the best city for student life in the UK , that surely will be an argument added to the
fact that you will not get bored around if you are a night crawl. I have taken
part at the UV party so basically I very much enjoyed my time in there,
Students Union is a nice place to party in.
Cultural activities:
Mainly, the
atmosphere is an inspirational one, so culture is all around the city, every
stone that paves the streets of Newcastle breathes a different colour of a
different soul that walked the streets years and years ago, starting with the
romans and finishing with the contemporary generations. You have few cinemas
going on, I do recommend the Tyneside Cinema, because of their old films
projections, but there are also some cinemas that deliver the latest
blockbusters. For the acting lovers, the Royal Theatre totally fulfils your
needs, being in the same time a tremendous building and a place with tremendous
and inspiring shows.
